SAVING ELI'S LIBRARY

Picture

Eli loves visiting the library for Miss Mudge's Story Circle. But one stormy day, the nearby river rages and rises, threatening to flood the building. Eli and his dad brave the weather to try to save the books.

Miss Mudge's stories always have happy endings. Will this one?

Inspired by true events in Lincoln, Vermont, this is a story about the strength that comes from being  part of a community, the unpredictability of nature, and the love of books.

I adore Brittany Jackson's lively illustrations, and I'm in awe of how she was able to bring this story to life.

"A delight for all the book lovers and friends of libraries."
